The incredible Miss Pilkinson! The concept behind this series is to introduce young readers to different cities and regions of Europe and the world,  their geography, their monuments and the way of life of their inhabitants.  All this without getting them bored,  by mixing such genres as witchcraft, magic and intrigue. We will follow the exciting adventures of three extraordinary recurring characters : Emma Pilkinson, an old eccentric English lady with mysterious powers and her nephew Jonathan, a young Parisian aged 13. Not to mention the mischievous Mister Tail,  Miss Pilkinson's big cat who accompanies her everywhere. Although the books follow chronologically, each volume can be read independently.

The first episode: Panic in Oxford Street!
The action takes place nowadays and in London, and allows us to get acquainted with the  main characters: Emma Pilkinson, her nephew Jonathan, Samantha, and the cat Mister Tail. Not to mention Henry, Jonathan's father, an awkward man....
What the English think of the French will amuse us, but then we'll realise that many prejudices die hard on both sides of the Channel. We follow Miss Pilkinson and Jonathan in a frenzied shopping spree - literally! - on Oxford Street and its department stores. This will not be an easy ride, and it will take all the supernatural powers of our Miss (and her uncanny ability to muddle things up) to sort the situation out.
